چکیده

We introduce a new class of cooperating distributed H systems which consist of a given set of splicing systems (sets of splicing rules plus sets of axioms), similar in form to the cooperating distributed grammar systems. By applying iteratively the components of such a system (starting from a given initial string), in a sequence which runs nondeterministically, in such a way that a step is considered correctly nished only if no more splicing is possible, we obtain a language. Somewhat surprisingly if we take into account the loose control on the operations we carry out, a characterization of recursively enumerable languages is obtained, by mechanisms as above with only three components. We also characterize the recursively enumerable languages by cooperating distributed H systems with the components containing at most three splicing rules (in this case the number of components is no longer bounded).

Modifying a Conventional Grasping Control Approach for Undesired Slippage Control in Cooperating Manipulator Systems

There have been many researches on object grasping in cooperating systems assuming no object slippage and stable grasp and the control system is designed to keep the contact force inside the friction cone to prevent the slippage. However undesired slippage can occur due to environmental conditions and many other reasons. In this research, dynamic analysis and control synthesis of a cooperating ...

Cooperating Distributed Grammar Systems of Finite Index Working in Hybrid Modes

We study cooperating distributed grammar systems working in hybrid modes in connection with the finite index restriction in two different ways: firstly, we investigate cooperating distributed grammar systems working in hybrid modes which characterize programmed grammars with the finite index restriction; looking at the number of components of such systems, we obtain surprisingly rich lattice st...

Cooperating Distributed Grammar Systems with Random Context Grammars as Components

In this paper, we discuss cooperating distributed grammar systems where components are (variants of) random context grammars. We give an overview of known results and open problems, and prove some further results.

On the Terminating Derivation Mode in Cooperating Distributed Grammar Systems with Forbidding Components

This paper discusses the terminating derivation mode in cooperating distributed grammar systems where components are forbidding grammars instead of context-free grammars. Such systems are called forbidding cooperating distributed grammar systems, and it is demonstrated that the number of their components can be reduced to two without changing the generative power and that these systems are comp...

Bidirectional Cooperating Distributed Grammar Systems Bidirectional Cooperating Distributed Grammar Systems

We consider bidirectional cooperating distributed (BCD) grammar systems in the sense of Asveld. Independently of their mode , , =, , or t, BCD grammar systems with two components characterize the re-cursively enumerable languages even with right-linear rules and without-productions. This sharply contrasts earlier results on solely generating or accepting grammars, where right-linear rules alway...
